About Cheap Creative Rascals

If you're looking for a 'reasonably priced' (cheap, that is) solution to a photographic gear problem, or HAVE such a solution you're proud of or one you want to 'run up the flagpole and see who salutes', you are Welcome Welcome Welcome.
This group is the natural result of posting a home-grown shoe-string solution to lighting a flower for macrophotography, so that my flickr-friends could proceed with decent lighting effects for their own flora. I realized that many people want to be able to do something like that, but haven't the experience with the gear to even know what they need in such a thing.
The cheap whatchamacallit contraption was half-named by photophool , in a comment, then finally completely dubbed by dotlyc , when she referred to the lighting system itself as my CCRLS, or Cheap Creative Rascal Lighting System.
Thus the name for the group.

If you have photos/suggestions, and are up to joining into the contribution, just apply to join, and we'll send you an affirmative reply, so you can become a member.
Then, please start a new thread per solution, and post your images in the thread. You may post the same images into the pool and up to 8 example images as to the results of applying the solution.

Please tag images "CCRAPhT".
That stands for Cheap Creative Rascals Assorted Photo Tools.
