Group Description

I love bird photo quizzes and I just started my own here on Flickr. My thought for this group is to provide a forum for exchanging quizzes. Each person's quiz must have the rules for their quiz posted including how they wish the quiz to be answered. This is NOT a forum for answering bird identification questions. There is another group for that (called strangely Bird Identification, a wonderful group btw). This is meant to be a fun, educational group.

As an EXAMPLE here are the rules of my quiz. YOUR QUIZ CAN HAVE ANY RULES THAT YOU DECIDE UPON AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO A PARTICULAR REGION.

EXAMPLE:

"Please send answers to warrech@yahoo.com. See latest quiz for due date.

Rules:
1.) Answers must be presented in the form of a full species name (no forms, no subspecies, etc.) and in the exact current nomenclature (including hyphens and spacing) delineated by the American Ornithologists' Union and as presented by the American Birding Association (ABA). All species currently accepted by the ABA as having occured in the ABA area are suitable subjects for the quiz. Hybrids of accepted species are also considered fair game and those names should be written in typical format with the full names of each of the parental species (e.g., Herring Gull x Great Black-backed Gull) (taken from CFO website www.cfo-link.org/birding/rules.php.)
2.) Only one answer per quiz bird will be accepted.
3.) Feel free to elaborate on answers including color morphs, identification clues, age, sex, etc. just be sure to make your answer clear.
4.) Respondents give permission for their names to be posted with the answer (unless they specify otherwise). Only those that give a correct answer will have their names posted to receive the glory they deserve. Those that give incorrect answers will not have their names posted to avoid hurt feelings.
5.) All respondents are hear-by awesome. "

Group Rules

You must provide the RULES to your quiz including HOW TO ANSWER. Whether that be through the comments section or via email. Time period is up to the quiz master. If you give a time period please try to stick to that period because so of us obsessives may be waiting on baited breath for your answer. THIS IS NOT A FORUM FOR BIRD IDENTIFICATION HELP. Each quiz master should know the answer to the quiz.

Here is an EXAMPLE of a rules section. Your quiz can have ANY rules you wish.

"This is a bi-weekly quiz. Please send answers to warrech@yahoo.com. See latest quiz for due date.
