About Stockholm Jazz Festival
This group is for pictures from the Stockholm Jazz Festival. Of course I want to see pictures of the artists performing here in this group, but I also want to see pictures from the whole festival place at Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. It can also be pictures from other concerts in Stockholm related to the days of the festival.
Please add information to the pictures; which artist/artists is performing in the picture, date taken/year taken, which concert/concert hall/club etc.
I also wellcome you to add a lot of info to the pictures. And as a recommendation; use the ’Note in picture’ function to show artists names, music instruments etc.
And I would like to see pictures of the whole arrangement. But please, not the ”private drinking and family picture” type of pictures. Let us keep the picture standard high! :-)

P.S. By the way!...if you have old good festival pictures as ordenary copies, and you do not have them scanned or you don’t own a scanner...BUT you have a digital camera; use the camera ”as a scanner”!! :-)
Some ideas on how to do ”camera-scanning”:
Put the photos on a flat surface. Maybe some tape in the corners if the photo is not flat enough, or better use dubbel-adhesive tape, ”rubber glue” or mounting spray. Or just a bit of glue. Take pictures outside (under overcast light is good = soft overall light), holding them so there will be the least reflection in the surface of the photos. Do not frame the picture by leaving out some parts out of the picture, if you have the posibility to afterwards cropp(change size of) the picture down to the right size and so the surface around the picture will not be visible. Be careful so you keep the picture horizontal; not tilted..
I hope you understand my instruction here on ”camera-scanning”. Good luck! I myself have some pictures that I shall ”scann” by using my camera...
