About Dams Of Australia
Because of the current water crisis in Australia our dams are becoming more and more important to us. Something I personally didn't realise is just how many we have as a country. After visiting a few I realised not only the importance of such a construction but the beauty it creates.
This group is to show Australia the multitude of dams and their beauty.
Please send any nice shots of not just the dam walls but of the resulting lakes and waterline, as well as the flora and fauna that now live in these places. Please descibe where and WHEN it is so we can see the difference over the years of waterlines and capacity.
Lets not forget our weirs and reservoirs as well.
One last thing please remember this is for the main water dams in austalia, not your everyday dam in the paddock......Unless its exceptional.
