About folding/space
A snapshot is a moment. In a general sense this could be further described as an event altogether discrete from the moment that is exposed; yet in a singular way touched by what takes place in front of the lens. At every instant subsequent to the shot when we reflect upon the image, we are taken with a memory, which places us outside-within the photo, a staged setting. How can we talk about the act-ing of photography in its extraordinary relationship to events with a special regard to spatiality?
