About The Metropolis
The Metropolis is dedicated to displaying photography from the major cities of the world. Beyond the typical skyscrapers, attractions and harbours you see in typical images (such as those on postcards), we encourage you to capture what makes a city a city. Is it about those office towers? Or is it something about the people? Or maybe something about an air or feel to your metropolis? Our photos capture the heart of the city.
The Metropolis is part of Rethink Toronto, a travel and city guide to Toronto, Canada. The aim of this website is to showcase Toronto to visitors in a different light--something that they don't typically see in everyday tourist guides. (Photos posted in this group will not be used on the website.) This group is merely a discussion and photo group for individuals whose passion is... the city, Toronto and worldwide.
