About Fantastic Insect "Invite only"

Fantastic Insects was created to collect high quality insect images!
We are seeking images of insects and spiders in their natural environment! Please do not submit photographs of pets, zoo animals, landscapes, buildings, humans, domestic or captive animals of any kind.
Do you have a high quality image which you feel deserves an invite, please post the image to our Need an invite??? in group discussion!

Photos must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the group:
1) An insect must be the main subject of the photo and must be alive. It may be eating a dead insect. It must be apparent that it is a photo of an insect.
2) The quality of the photo must be excellent. Generally, the image should be in focus, sharp, and have an interesting composition and good pose, Even if an insect is endangered or unique, the image must still be of good quality and the insect the main focus.
3) The photo cannot be a photo or scan of a painting, sculpture, etc. It must be a photo that you have taken. Anyone posting someone else's photo to the group will be banned from the group.
4) Since this is a public group, please avoid violence, human nudity, or anything that could be considered offensive.
5) Photos may be rejected if they are in bad taste, are inappropriate for the group, or are not of good quality.
