About Bored Couples

After a while, the steam goes out of most relationships. At that point, some couples split and each goes their own way. Others have more staying power, and for their own constellation of reasons the pair remains together. The house, the threat of alimony, the kids, habit.

Some linger on for years, and you see them in pizzarias, slowly mumbling their way through the same pizza year after year, subsiding into the fuzz of a long-mouldered relationship.

This group is about those couples who are well past their sell-by date. Its pool will become a dreadful warning to those of us who don't want to go there.
