About Sandy Hook, New Jersey

Sandy Hook is a truly unique area of New Jersey. It has an incredible history dating back to colonial times and the Revolutionary War. The lighthouse that is located on the "Hook" is the oldest working lighthouse in the United States. It is part of the U.S.National Park System and is home to diverse wildlife both flora and fauna. Each time I visit "The Hook" I come away with a new cultural and environmental experience. Many photographers visit Sandy Hook on a daily basis.
