Informations about Český Krumlov:
Český Krumlov (also called: Krumau, Krummau, Bohemian Krumau) is a small city (15.000 inhabitants) in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The city is known for the fine architecture and art of the historic old town within a horseshoe bend of the Vltava River.
The construction of the town and castle began in the 13th century. The castle and the town was owned by the House of Rosenberg, later the House of Eggenberg and the House of Schwarzenberg. In the year 1947 the town was nationalized.

Sights:
Old Český Krumlov is a UNESCO World heritage. Most of the architecture dates from the 14th through the 17th centuries. The town´s structures are mostly in Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles.
Worth seeing are the historical castle which preserves a Baroque theatre, the cemetery of Josef Malinský, the wax-museum, the museum of torture, the Egon-Schiele-Art-Center and many more.
