About Founder's Day! 5/19/08

This group is to give tribute to the flickr 365 Days group founder, chrismaverick. I am declaring Monday, May 19th, 2008 to be 365 Days Founder's Day! On that day, in this group, we will honor chrismaverick for starting a group that has changed the lives of many. There are currently well over 8000 members worldwide of this phenomenal group. There are many spin off groups. When he started 365 Days, he never had an idea that this thing would explode the way it has.

Many people have individually expressed their thanks to him for putting this group together as well as continuing to admin the group (with a great group of fellow flickrites now assisting) on a daily basis. Here is an opportunity to do something really big to thank him for coming up with something so huge that affects so many people around the world.

I'm asking all of you to please keep this a secret. He may kill me for doing this as it is and I'd prefer to die only one death - thank you very much! We won't reveal this to him until May 19th.

So here's how I'd like this to work. Choose one of chrismaverick's 365 pics from either year 1 or year 2, your choice. Copycat it for your daily photo on May 19th. Let your description tell what the group has meant to you.

Also, I could use all of you to help me. I'm going to go through my contact list and invite everyoone to join this group and participate. Please, please, please go to your own contact list and invite those folks too. This can be anyone who has participated in the past, present, or is thinking about participating in the future. Let's make this really big! As the day gets closer, please remind your contacts.
