I suspect they are no longer in that form. The fact that several other photographs in the Tyrell collection at Mosman Bay were taken in the area that is now Reid Park (which was reclaimed) suggest that this may be from the Reid Park area prior to reclaimation.
But I'm quite unsure.

The property address, 2C Park Avenue, Mosman is just above Reid Park.

Good clue lifeasdaddy!
This house backs right onto Reid Park....it could be the spot!
Thanks for the great investigation.

Due to your great investigation we contacted the real estate to ask them about the falls. They are convinced it is the same area and invited us to come and photograph the falls. Stay posted and we will upload what we shot soon.
Thanks

I've spoken to a friend who worked for Mosman Council, and knows the parks and reserves quite well. He believes that the only currently existing waterfall in Mosman is the one in Reid Park, and it only flows during or after rainfall.

That's great. With all the recent rain in Sydney I think we have been lucky to catch the falls in action.
