About Rose Grove Shed Burnley Lancashire
Opened by the East Lancashire Railway Company in 1848 Rose Grove was one of the last motive power depots (sheds) on British Railways closing along with Carnforth & Lostock Hall in August 1968.
This group has been formed as a record of the depot, its crews & its steam locomotives.
