About The English Debate
This is not a slanging match. This is a group spawned by a lively debate here and I thought it might be interesting to carry it on.
The need for a group was heightened by this rather one sided and unbalanced article...
No personal insults. No over reacting to strong language. No taking things personally. If insulting A people (rather than a person) would make your point in an amusing way, feel free. But victimization will be strictly frowned upon. This is all intended to be good natured.
Also, if you would like to take a particular element of a debate away from the initial post direction, don't be scared of starting a new thread. This will reduce the confusion of cross posting.
What else?
Oh. I suppose we ought to make it clear that using words like 'prejudice' or trying to suggest that this is in any way race/colour /creed motivated will result in a thorough drubbing.
