This is a group to showcase photos of this big, beautiful, crazy and unique planet.

Give your photos a wider audience...

Anyone (all welcome) who submits a photograph to this group gives their consent for their submitted images to be featured on the Planet Earth Daily Photo website (see group rules).

If your work is chosen then we'll link back to the relevant Flickr photo page, and also your personal website (we'll link to the site mentioned in your Flickr profile, otherwise your photostream).

Photos with descriptive comments and information are particularly encouraged. Only pictures with comments (especially including location information) can be considered for publication on the Planet Earth Daily Photo website.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: WORK SUBMITTED WITHOUT COMMENTS BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER AND LOCATION INFORMATION WILL NOT BE SELECTED, HOWEVER GREAT THE PHOTO.

Since Flickr site update: You must make sure that the regular group admins ( rimawa ) and ( English Granpa ) are able to download your images. You can do this in your settings either globally, or by allowing Friends/Family to download images and making the admins Friends/Family. If you do not do this then we cannot feature your work, and it is a waste of time for the admins too.

Admins reserve the right to alter/change/replace titles, although we try to do this only where necessary.
