What does a market economy look like?

This is one of the central institutions of modern life, and a rhetorical plank of so much political discourse. So why does it seem so hard to picture it? Can it be represented as an equation? a place? a graph? a pay slip?

This group is not about finding that one picture or pictures that truly represent The Economy, but about exploring the limits of the concept.

Such freedom doesn't allow you to throw any picture you want into this group to give it a few more hits, but it does mean there are more ways to screw up ;)
