About CCC Architecture

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was formed in 1933 as a make work program during the Great Depression. It employed mainly young, unemployed men, who were set up in work camps. They were given various jobs, mostly building roads, campgrounds and buildings in both State and National Parks all across America. Much of their handiwork still exists today.

This group was formed to showcase CCC Architecture that still exists today. Whether it's a beautiful Park Building or a simple stone staircase, if the CCC built it...put it here!

Historic photos of CCC camp life, work crews, etc. are also welcome.
