About CCC ArchitectureThe Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was formed in 1933 as a make work program during the Great Depression. It employed mainly young, unemployed men, who were set up in work camps. They were given various jobs, mostly building roads, campgrounds and buildings in both State and National Parks all across America. Much of their handiwork still exists today. |
