30 Jul 08 - Roney & Claudiney, CARF participants and children of Gregory Smith's heart were killed in Brazil. This is to honor them and all street children like them and to bring awareness to this situation. Perhaps together we can contribute to solutions and prevent this and other terrible things that happen to street children daily. Please post a symbolic photo here in their honor.

About Virtual Vigil for Roney and Claudiney*Roney was a young street kid who was brutally murdered in Brazil. He was in the process of rehabilitation under the care of CARF (Children at RIsk Foundation) and flickr member Gregory Smith. The laws of Brazil created a situation that put Roney at more risk and now he is no longer walking on this planet. Let's let Roney's light live in each of our hearts and light a virtual candle in honor of him. invite your friends as well to join us create awareness around something that is very common and too often ignored. |
