Hi there,
it's time to start a little contest for homemade PS-Actions that simulate Lithprint.

Here is an original shot, (c) by Anton Corbijn:

And this one is the altered Lith-Version, also (c) by Corbijn himself:

134.76.160.89/stockmann/download/Dave_Gahan_2_Anton_Corbi...

The task is quite simple: create a Photoshop-action thar reproduces the second Image right of the first one.

Post your results in the pool and describe which approach you took right here!

Good luck!

How you think, Anton always uses real lith print, or can scanning and postprocessing film?

Hi antimoloko,

I'm quite positive that he uses some real "analog" dark room techniques - hence he started this long before Photoshop?

haha, I aproached a very close result but never saved the action.
Anyway, it's too simple. Although I admit, it wouldn't be just an action. Some work with masks was required. And the result still differs a bit.
