About Trees for Cities
This Flickr group is dedicated to the work of the chairty Trees for Cities. This UK charity is an independent charity set up in 1993 (initially as Trees for London) to work with local communities on tree planting projects.
Their aim is to tackle global warming, create social cohesion and beautify our cities through tree planting, community, education and training initiatives in urban areas of greatest need.
During the year they hold various planting days in the London area and some of the pictures taken during those days can be seen in this group.
