About Hataitai Hataitai, that oasis in wellington just the right distance from city and sea. well okay, it's a charming little suburb of wellington, a short distance from the city (town, more accurately), enjoying shelter from Wellington's predominant northerly wind, enjoying good access, sea views, parking scarcity, and walk-ups that make you think 'San Francisco'. This group is un-promoted, and just about capturing some of the outstanding features of the place people rush past on their way in from the airport, or in their climb to Roseneath.
