Big thanks to Donald1976 for our new group icon! PLEASE read the "About Guitar Face" section below. Understanding what GUITAR FACE is will improve the chances of your shot making it into the pool! Currently, only about 1 in 5 photos submitted are making it in, so clearly there is still some mis-apprehension about the term Guitar Face.

About Guitar Face - Now 1 a Day. Read the Rules please!
This is where we celebrate Guitar Face! The marvellous screwed up un-selfconscious expressions of the guitarist who's really concentrating on that chord or solo. Oh, the agony (and the ectasy!) GRIMACES! GROWLS! SNARLS! Visages racked with the eternal pain of the creative mind!
Please observe that there are two words in the title of this group - GUITAR and FACE, and the second is absolutely as important as the first. In fact, think of those two words as one. Photos of people playing the guitar are ten-a-penny. I should know, I've taken enough. But what we're after here is Guitar FACE. Frankly, if there's no clearly visible face in your picture, it doesn't belong here and will not be approved.
There are plenty of groups for your moody guitar player portraits, your singing guitarist shots, your jumping guitarist shots. This is not the place for any of those.

The intention is to keep the pool 'on theme' and prevent it from being just another repository for standard guitar / band shots.
