About Urticaceae (stinging nettle family)

A group for posting photos of plants in the large and diverse family Urticaceae, as circumscribed by the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group (2007). Most plants in this family are tropical shrubs and trees, (e.g. Pilea, Cecropia, Coussapoa), but the family also includes many herbaceous plants, and many species native to the temperate regions of the world such as the stinging nettles (Urtica spp.) Please post photos of all plants in this family so we can get a good representation of the diversity it contains.
