OZ Aviation (a group admin) says:
02 Jan 08 - Nelson Airport is one of the best places in the country for aeroplane photographers as the fences are low and you can get close up to the aircraft. At the airport there is mostly Air NZ Bombardier Q300 Dash 8 aircraft as that is Nelson's main airline and the airline is based there. At the Northern end of the airport there are three BAe Jetstream 31 aircraft sitting in external storage which were operated by Origin Pacific Airways, they are now owned by Inglis aircraft leasing.
