About Birds of Polynesia, Micronesia and Melanesia
This is a group for photos of wild birds of the Tropical Pacific, Hawaii and New Zealand. This includes The Solomons, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Norfolk and Lorde Howe, Fiji, New Zealand and it's Outlying Islands, Fiji, Tonga, the Samoas, the Cooks, Niue, French Polynesia, Pitcairn, Easter Island, Kiribati, Hawaii, the Federated States of Microneisa, Nauru, Wallis and Futuna, Tokelau, Tulavu, Marianas, Guam and Palau. Use your judgement when posting here, but basically any landbird, seabird that lives in the Pacific area is welcome.
Rules
Photos of wild birds are prefered (but where no wild shots exist those in captivity are okay), and if they are migrants to the region, particularly shorebirds/waders, then photos taken in the area are prefered. No mynas, bulbuls or Rock Doves, please.
