About The Movie Lobby Cards Gallery...
A tribute to one of the oldest formats of movie advertising materials, the 11x14 lobby card. These mini-posters offered a view of what's to come in the movie they promoted, as well as some great border artwork.
They're few and far between these days (although still used in European and Asian countries), so here's a chance for everyone to post and enjoy these wonderful bits of movie memorabilia, which, in the case of a great many older films, have outlasted the movies they were intended to promote.
Ladies and gentlemen, the lobby's now open....
