About Building Dates
UNNOTICED BY ALMOST EVERYBODY...
and UNAPPRECIATED UNFORTUNATELY...until NOW
Building dates comes in a staggering assortment of styles - people used to have a lot of fun with numbers - the evidence is there to see...
so go SEE...and SNAPand...bring them back to here.
Images that CLEARLY show on any building the date of construction (or possibly some dated refurbishment work ) - either normal numbered dates (eg. 1903) or Roman.
There is no preference as to whether the focus of the photograph should be on the date itself (as in a close-up image) or shown in context with the architecture that it sits on.
- ANY BUILDING ..with.. ANY DATE .
Also acceptable could be structures like bridges/ tunnels as these sometimes have their building date marked on them.
