About Nikko Kanaya Hotel, Japan
This group is to celebrate the Nikko Kanaya Hotel and its wonderful atmosphere. Built originally in the late 1800's, this hotel oozes period charm; is the best hotel in Nikko and is also the spookiest!
Famous guests included Douglas Fairbanks and Lindburgh in the 1930's; Eleanor Rooservelt and it was used by the Americans during the post WWII occupation of Japan.
With masses of period features, a library dating back to the turn of the 20th century and wonderful brown leather armchairs, it is a fabulous step back in time!
Fellow fans of period charm, please post your photos!
