18 Dec 08 - Hello everyone:
I wanted to mention my appreciation for all the photos that have been submitted this year.
However please note. The purpose of my group is to show where trains used to run.
This includes roadbeds (with some surrounding area if possible), bridges, tunnels, etc. Not stations or piles of scrap.
The largest need is to have what and where included with the photo. Without a description your photo is of little use to other members and will be denied.
Thanks.
Paul

About Abandoned Railroad Grades, Bridges, Tunnels--With Location!!!

We invite you to add your photos of ABANDONED railroad grades. This includes photos of old railroad beds, bridges, cuts, tunnels, line changes and even rails to trails. The focus here is on the railroad aspect, so please don't add photos that feature people or other non-railroad things. Old stations, abandoned equipment should go into some other groups, NOT in this one.

Added 10/14/2008: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PHOTOS HAVE IN THE TITLES, TAGS OR DESCRIPTIONS THE LOCATION AND A DESCRIPTION OF WHAT THE PHOTO SHOWS. Without it I will probably deny your photo. Remember this site for photos of abandoned and unused railroads.

Thanks, Paul
