About The Opening Shot
A place for screen-captures from the opening shot of movies. The first arresting image that says "Sit down and shut up; the movie just started." The first frame of the first shot would be ideal but it's not always easy. By first shot I mean the first shot after the title sequence, or the the first shot in a pre-title sequence. There should be no lettering (no credits) visible on screen, though, if the opening shot is for example an establishing wide of the city of Rome with St Peter's basilica in the background and 'Rome' in big bold letters centre frame, that would count.
