About Historic Church Buildings

Old churches are a part of our history. The older the better, but we look for unusual churches as well. Post your favorite church picture and try to include a few words about it's history. Churches often have two dates. The earlier one is when the church was established and the later one is when the church building was built. We would be interested in both if you have the information. You might want to mention the location as well.
