12 Nov 07 - Die Casting Machine Tools Ltd., was the parent company of Lone Star Products Ltd., formerly of Palmers Green, North London and of Hatfield, Hertfordshire, U.K. They produced die-cast metal cars, trucks, "OOO"-gauge model trains, plastic unbreakable figures, die-cast toy cap-firing pistols and rifles. Unfortunately, the group of companies went into Receivership in October 1983. Then, with German owners, Lone Star continued trading at Hatfield until June 1988 when sadly it closed down completely.
