About This is what a mother looks like!
You know that t-shirt "this is what a feminist looks like?"...well, after a discussion on the fabulous Wardrobe Remix group, some of us remixers-who-are-mamas got to chatting about how there are so many cliches/expectations/pressures to look and behave a certain way once you have had kids.
Here at "This is what a mother looks like!" we hope to challenge those stereotypes and assumptions and loudly be the unique individuals we are! Viva la make-it-up-as-you-go-along parenting!
So whether you are a stay-at-home mama, a queer mama, a fashionista mama, a stripy sock mama, a grumpy mama, a gothy mama, a freaky mama, a tatooed mama, a tired and sore mama, a mama dressed as a fairy, a covered in play-dough mama, a disco-dancing mama, an artist mama...whatever! We would love to see photos of you here. (Photos of the kidlets optional but welcome! :))
