I am back from Hiatus. I want to try and get this group up and running. I would really like to try and have a weekly or bi weekly photo challenge. Something simple, a new theme each week, maybe people can vote in the comments. The only rules being you cant photoshop the image. That being said, some color correction is ok, desaturation etc. It's the cutting and pasting, and cloning and layering that is the issue.
We are photographers, not graphic designers.

About Photoshop Is Not PhotographyThis group is for all those people who believe in taking a good picture the first time around and not having to alter it beyond belief in order for it to be viewable. This group is for photographers, not graphic designers. I don't want to sound like im hating on photoshop, I love photoshop. However, I think it is much more satisfying to take a beatiful shot that doesn't need to be photoshopped, a shot so good that photoshopping would only make it look worse. |
