About I've Kept It All These Years

Lately, I have been noticing how many things we have around our house that we have had for years and years. Some of the items go back way before I was born. Most, but not all, of these items are still in use. Not necessarily in their original role, though.

I thought that there might be other people who have such treasures around the house. I'm not necessarily talking about valuable antiques. Just things that have been around for years and years. Maybe you haven't even noticed them lately. These things have a way of blending in with the background of your life.

This group is about bringing these items out of obscurity and into the shining light of flickr.

Take a look around you. I'll bet you'll be surprised.

Please tell us what your photo is about, what the item means to you and any other information you can think of.

Each photo must have a title and a description. Just a photo of an object with no explanation is meaningless in this context.
