About The Click: 52 Week Shooting Assignment Project

All are welcome to join! The idea of a 52 week project is to keep shooting as that is the easiest way to take your photography to the next level.

This will be a bit different in that it will be an 'assignment shooting project', with a different topic each week (see list below).

The rules are simple: shots must be taken the week of the assignment (NO ARCHIVES) - give or take a day or two (unless you are catching up). And there is of course no pressure to shoot every week - just follow your inspiration.

Jan 2 - Around the house
Jan 9 - Selective photography - sometimes you don't need the full image to tell the story. Determine what you want to share and only shoot that
Jan 16 - Pets/Animals
Jan 23 - Product photography
Jan 30 - Song or movie title (editing welcome though not required!)
Feb 6 - Food
Feb 13 - Sound/noise
Feb 20 - Fruit
Feb 27 - Forcing the viewers eye
Mar 5 - Look up
Mar 12 - The color green
Mar 19 - White balance - play with your WB setting to create a different effect on your photo
Mar 26 - Natural framing
April 2 - Silhouette/back lighting
April 9 - Scale - Photographer Jay Maisel mentions the main thing portfolios lack today is a photograph with a sense of scale.
April 16 - Pattern
April 23 - 4 sides - shoot your subject from 4 different angles then choose the most compelling shot
April 30 - Upside down
May 7 - 50 mm - anything you want but must be taken using your 50mm zoom
May 14 - Flower
May 21 - Side lighting
May 28 - Nature
June 4 - Get Low
June 11 - Unexpected beauty
June 18 - Numbers
June 25 - Reflection
July 2 - Landscape
July 9 - Backyard
July 16 - 100 Paces - grab your camera, whether inside or out and take 100 paces and shoot something interesting that you find
