About EuCAN Leonardo

EuCAN is the European Conservation Action Network, funded by the European Union's Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning Fund and established in August 2007 in association with The Kingcombe Trust, an environmental charity in west Dorset and the Dorset branch of Butterfly Conservation. Groups of 15 people will visit different parts of Europe to carry out practical conservation work on important wildlife sites. The first two visits took place in Autumn 2007 - to Aggtelek in northern Hungary in September and to two areas in central France in October. The two-week placements are totally free and are open to anyone over 18 who is not in full-time education. The contact email address is nigelspring@yahoo.co.uk
