About Boards Exhibition
Boards.ie is the biggest internet forum in Ireland and has boards covering many, many subjects of which photography is one. There is a very decent community spirit in boards.ie/photography and for some time there have been rumblings about maybe doing an exhibition in the real world.
The objective of this group is to get interested contributors together, put together a taster collection of photographs in preparation for the real world sometime in 2008, most likely in Dublin. The exhibition currently has a working name of Boards Eye View.
Each contributor should a) be a regular on boards.ie/photography and b) submit just one photograph to the exhibition either online and for the gallery.
I have some hopes of perhaps moving the exhibition to Cork and/or Waterford afterwards but a lot depends on getting it off the ground in Dublin first.
