ABOUT THE GROUP

Background
澳人 . 澳嘢 | Macanism /ˈməkəˌnɪzəm/ was established in October 2007. Started up by some Macau youngsters, it is a platform for me and you to share Macau-related photos, which could represent a matter, a sight, a memory, or anything significant to me and you.

Objective
To encourage and develop photography interest among me and you who find the beauty of Macau so stunning that we can't help capturing her through the lens.

Spirit and atmosphere
(1) Be active and contributive. Show no hesitation in sharing whatever you've got about photographing in Macau (your photo works, photo taking skills, great Macau photo taking sites, tutorials, fun ideas.. etc).
(2) Be inspiring and creative, use your world of imagination.
(3) Friendly and family like (we love coming out from time to time for photo-takings, a drink, casual gatherings)

Rules for participation
- We welcome Macau photos only.
- Be original. Only photos taken by you.
- No offensive wordings and photos.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES HELD OUT FOR YOU TO JOIN & ENJOY

Shoot, Post & Vote : bi-weekly assignment
Open for everyone. A new topic to be issued on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month respectively. Participants read current week's requirements, compose and shoot according to topic given, post it up here before given deadline, and get one voting right to vote for one favorite photo which is submitted by other participants. The participant who gets the highest votes wins, and gets some prizes in return.

Go shoot together : photo-taking outings
Open for everyone to join, as long as you're in Macau. Usually meets on Sundays, shooting from 4pm - 6pm (flexible). Unique Macau spot visited each time.
