About Fine Art Limited Editions
Exhibition of artwork characterized by suggestive graphic language and its relationship to the use of second generation images. Some significant aspects to consider are a notion of printmaking tradition and its translation for example to digital media. How do we exercise a reverse thinking process where the iconographic richness is a succession of stage work, ghost image transition and the overall exercise of works in progress?
The objective and generic understatement is to create a body of work, although eclectic in its nature, capable of coexisting in the form of a parallel language. Such condition may be a preamble of a possible future, something which is about to exist.
Finally the criterion of closed editions is a condition which predetermines the uniqueness of serial work where the specific number of available proofs underscores a world of undefined boundaries. In this respect, the exhibited work should be clearly identifiable and properly curated in terms of edition number, title identification, format or paper size, edition marks, substrate quality, printing technique, etc. The long term benefit is based on the intrinsic value of works on paper and its relationship to added value.
In addition to the above, general work description is encouraged in terms of illustrating working process in order to learn the genesis of a creative conceptual framework associated to image construction.
