The idea of this group is (besides general sharing and enjoying) to use it (sometimes?) as slideshow on the screen for kids and their parents etc. to see and to discover the children of the world and to share the beauty and variety around us - of course open for questions and answers!

...of course the subject has many aspects, but my wish and aspect is quite simple: lets have pics to share, to enjoy, to touch... (BUT NEVER TO SHOCK) - thinking of children, feeling for children, being with children and - working and wishing more love and understanding about children around the world!
- one more point last but not least: WE ARE ALL CHILDREN!

being an artist and author (66), for some time an educator and guestteacher and a father of seven (7) kids between 3 and 41, the subject: "pics and kids" became a theme of my life since i call my work "photopoetry" (fotopoesie) around 35 years ago - or even much longer since i´ve bought my first camera 50 years ago and starting my own darkroom in b&w.
I just feel the time is right (ripe) and Flickr. a good forum for this new group and project and send this invitation around the world to you, your friends and everybody... lets try it, give it a chance and join it!
