About The 48Straight Photo Contest Contest Prizes and Rules One Grand Prize: 2 VIP Tickets to the Sun Valley 2008 / 2009 event. Also included are Lodging at that event and the opportunity to be a professional photographer on assignment for a day during the event. Plus miscellaneous 48Straight clothing and stuff. ($5,000.00 value). How the Winners are Determined: The 48STRAIGHT professional photography staff will select the best 48 images and descriptions; entries will be judged on the quality of the image, creativity, and how well the image captures the qualities of the outdoor experience. The 48 photo contest finalists will then be forwarded to our panel of celebrity judges who will also judge the photo entries on these three criteria. The Grand Prize winner and four Finalists prize winners will be announced via email to all Contest participants on or after March 29, 2008. The winners will also be announced athttp://www.48straight.com on or after March 29, 2008. Rules: You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States. Your entry into the contest constitutes your agreement to allow your photographs — and your name, occupation, city and state of residence — to be used by 48Straight on the websites that it owns. If selected as an award winner you agree that all rights in and to your award winning photo will thereby be unconditionally transferred to and forever belong to 48STRAIGHT LLC and that 48STRAIGHT LLC may make whatever use of your prize winning photo it deems appropriate without need to provide photo credit. The photos you submit must have been taken by you, and you must hold the full rights to the photos. 48Straight employees and contributors are free to submit photos, but they are ineligible to win prizes. Eligible Images: Any image that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by the staff of 48Straight in their sole discretion, will be removed from the Contest. 48Straight shall have the right to verify, in their sole judgment, winner eligibility.
