26 Apr 12 - Pictures go into a queue for approval before they appear in the group pool. Please identify the picture ( name the person, place ,or thing). You may not be notified if a picture is denied. The only reasons for denial would be that it is NOT from the 1950's or admin. feels it does not fit the group's focus. Only "Moderate" filtered Nudes are allowed (breasts and buttocks without pornography)

About The FABULOUS FIFTIES - 1950's - Moderate Filter

Vintage Images of the of the 1950's .

INCLUDE : Oldies Music groups and stars; Classic TV stars and scenes from TV shows ( Westerns, Lucy & other comedies, Variety shows like Ed Sullivan, Games shows Talk shows- etc..)

INCLUDE : Fads, Fashions, News Events of the 1950's - just about anything that was famous in the ENTERTAINMENT WORLD and POP-CULTURE in the Fifties..

INCLUDE : MOVIES and the MOVIE STARS of the decade... Famous people that made the headlines - !!! No photos that were not taken in the 1950s !!! Because some movie star photos have been published as nudes (Ekberg, Monroe, and some muscle-builders of the 1950s) nudity will be allowed (moderate level) and checked by the administrators.

Basically just 3 rules for now :
1. It's from the years 1950 through 1959
2. The subject is a famous / historical event, a fads, or a famous person of the 1950s.
3. This is a group censored for flickr's "MODERATE" safety filter level. (no porn, but some breasts and ass can be allowed at the administrator's discretion).
