About DivaDea's Rainbow Photo Challenge

This is a 7-week challenge, starting on Sunday, October 7, and ending on Saturday, November 24. Each week's theme will be one color (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple), and the final week will be rainbow. The photo you submit each week must have to do with the color of the week - there are lots of ways to interpret that, so be creative.

Here be the rules:

1. Submit one new photo each week by posting to the group photo pool. Post any time from Sunday morning to Wednesday evening.
2. Vote for your favorite submissions each week by sending a flickr mail to me (divadea). Voting template: 1st: 2nd: 3rd:
3. Photos must be new, be all about the color of the week, and be suitable for family viewing.
4. No spamming or advertising (but using photos of products you sell or make is OK).
5. You do not have to be a professional photographer or have a super duper fancy camera to enter (although these things would be fine). It's all about colors and creativity.
6. Please send me your first name and flickr ID before entering so I know who's playing.
7. Contact me any time if you have a question through a flickr message or at admin@divadea.com
8. My photos are not up for voting.
9. Feel free to comment on people's photos and add discussion topics.
10. Use new pictures - the point here is to have some current creativity, not to dig through the archives for old photos.
11. If you get here late, you can still join the challenge. Jump in any time, and feel free to post photos for the past colors.

I'll list the schedule as a discussion topic.

At the end of the challenge, I'll tally the votes, and the three people with the most votes will win prizes! The prizes will be your choice of a big pile of handmade beads, a piece of handmade divadea jewelry for you or as a gift, or a stack of handmade greeting cards or note cards.
