The Omaha Etsy Street Team is a group of Etsy sellers who choose to get together to promote Etsy! This is a great way to meet other Etsy Sellers in Omaha.

From the Etsy site: 'Groups can choose to promote Etsy by organizing shows or events in their city, representing Etsy at festivals or other large events, online sales, banding together to split the cost of advertising, creating charity projects, etc. some teams meet regularly in person to plan their events or have a skill share or just be social, other teams meet only virtually to plan their events and get things done. most active Etsy street teams have webspaces that they communicate through (like yahoo groups or flickr groups) or blogs or regular webpages, and flickr groups to show off their crafts and post photos of their events. As a team becomes more organized and established, some choose to open an Etsy shop to raise money for a charity or to cover the cost of a team event or advertising.'
