About efke / ADOX
Welcome to the efke and ADOX film group on flickr. This group is dedicated to shots taken with efke and ADOX film only (including Bluefire Police), which has the unusual characteristic of having a particularly high silver content and being surprisingly sharp, even on 35mm. Try efke 25 and be amazed.
These emulsions, like Kodak Plus-X and Tri-X, are an 'old' emulsion formula, so for that true retro look these films are perfect - because they are the real thing!
The lowest-speed efke and ADOX (25 or 50 ISO) also has the ability to be enlarged without the loss of the image to grain, due to its super-fine grain structure... it's been said that it's almost like shooting medium format with a 35mm camera.
No limit to daily photo upload - the more the better. :)
