Landing Strip
|
What ideas have people been coming up with for their landing strips? I'm looking for ideas. I need something 9.5" or narrower. I would love it if it had integrated shelving underneath the "landing strip" portion, or maybe a shelf that attaches to the wall and has integrated hooks.
Any ideas?

Where are you thinking about putting your landing strip? How much space do you have horizontally? We've been enviously eyeing the Anthro E-Nook, which sounds like it might work for you.

The e-nook is cool, I don't love the aesthetics, but I like it functionally. My landing strip can be as long as I want, but it does need to be narrow because it will be going into a long, narrow hallway. I actually have several places in the hallway where it can go. Yesterday I found the magnetic pocket strip from www.tinyliving.com and that might actually work really well for my hallway.
I really am curious to hear about what everyone is coming up with for their landing strips, seeing other people's solutions might help get my creativity juices going!

I did this with mine during the last Cure: shelves and hooks, based on an idea someone had in a much earlier Cure.
It's been so nice having one place where all my keys, bags, outdoor gear live, a one-stop shop, that I'm thinking of setting up a laptop/charging station to keep all of my electronics in one place too. Plus that way all my electronics could be plugged into a strip that I can switch off easily to reduce vampire power drains.
