About Rangiroa, Polynesia On the edge of the world, in the Tuamotu Archipelago, an immense atoll known as Rangiroa reigns in the middle of the Pacific waters. It's location between two passes on the northwest coast of Rangiroa, the crystal blue lagoon and the traditional hospitality are assets. I honeymooned there recently and have it my new life passion to return. We stayed at the Kia Ora Hotel & Sauvage. Kia Ora is an exceptional hotel with sixty-three bungalows positioned along the coral ring of the atoll. About thirty kilometers south of Rangiroa on the other side of its vast lagoon you will find the Kia Ora Sauvage - a private islet, complete with five comfortable beach bungalows to recreate the traditional Polynesian way of life.
