These Performers Are Done Up In Likenesses Of The Character(s) Of Their Choice - As A Wide Variety Of Movie / TV / Cartoon / Comics Characters And Pose For Photos With Tourists And Locals.

They Are Free-Lance And Are Not Associated With The Chinese / Kodak Theater Or Any Particular Company. So, They Earn Their Pay Solely On Tips And Donations, Which Can Add To A Pretty Decent Amount If The Costume / Character Is Good.

Some Of These Bums-In-Costumes Are Usually NOT In A Particular Character Costume, But Just Some Generic Costume. You Can Also Tell Most Of Them By The QUALITY Of Their Costumes And Their Showmanship. If They Aggressively PESTER You For Photos / Tips, Chances Are They ARE One Of These Bums. Stay Clear Of Such Types! Instead, Go For The Characters Who Are NOT Trying To Grab You!
