About Brooklyn Quaker Parrots
Pictures of the wild Quaker parrots, aka Monk parakeets, at Brooklyn College and throughout the borough and surrounding areas. NY, NJ, and CT wild Quakers. When posting, please specify location of the birds pictured--as precisely as you can--so that other users can better appreciate and understand each photo. This is especially important for the threatened flocks in CT and NJ since the laws in those states still allow for nest teardowns and killing of birds (like the 200 killed in CT in December).
